The Sound Oasis S-550-04 is a unique sound and tinnitus therapy product that allows users to create their very own sound environment conducive to relaxation, sleep and improvement of everyday life. By bathing a room with authentic sounds of nature, this Sound Machine blocks out irritating noises, helps circumvent tinnitus discomfort and creates a peaceful atmosphere so users fall asleep easier, get higher quality sleep, enhance concentration, and feel more alert and comfortable throughout the day. The Sound Oasis S-550-04 also incorporates the worlds only "sound card" technology which enables users to add new sounds to their Sound Oasis unit by simply inserting a memory card containing 6 different sounds.
Sound Oasis incorporates a multi-position timer (with 4 selections: continuous, 30, 60, and 90 minutes), a unique "gradual off" volume reduction feature for a peaceful decrease in sound volume, a rotary on/off volume control, headphone jack and a one-touch off/ resume button that stops the unit or repeats your last played sequence. An improved omni-directional reflective speaker projects sound from the back of the unit for rich, deep sound and the unit can be conveniently mounted to a wall, used flat on its back, or in an upright position for minimal use of table space. The Sound Oasis can be powered by 4 "AA" batteries (not included) for traveling, or by an AC adapter for convenient use at home or the office.
